If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Southern Lab. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Broadmoor at 7:00 PM. Southern Lab will be hoping to build upon the 36-8 win they picked up against Broadmoor the last time they played.
After having lost a blowout to University Lab in their previous matchup, Southern Lab were happy to find some success last Friday. Southern Lab were able to grind out a solid win over Scotlandville, winning 20-6.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Broadmoor, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 12-30 loss to Woodlawn-B.R.. This makes it the second loss in a row for Broadmoor.
Southern Lab's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Broadmoor's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Southern Lab can add another positive mark to their record or if Broadmoor can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Southern Lab's step.
