The Livermore Cowboys will face off against the Carondelet Cougars at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Livermore is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3  runs per game  this season.
On Friday, Livermore came up short against Amador Valley  and fell  8-5. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Livermore saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Laine Macosky, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs. Another  was  Gianna Willes, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run and one  double.
Meanwhile, Carondelet waltzed into their game  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   4-1  win over the Mustangs.
  Maia Scholtens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 Livermore's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Carondelet, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.
