Baseball Recap: Enterprise Wins Going Away Against Mountain View

While Enterprise put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Mountain View. Everything went the Enterprise Wolves' way against the Mountain View Bruins as the Enterprise Wolves made off with an 8-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Enterprise let Klint Bundy and Clayton Bowler run wild. Bundy went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double, while Bowler went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most hits Bowler has posted since back in April of 2024. Jackson Hiatt was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Enterprise always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain View only posted an OBP of .105.

The victory made it two in a row for Enterprise and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain View, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enterprise will host Millard at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Millard's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Bonneville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
