After losing to Kelley the last time they met, Barnum decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bombers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Mariners  a   7-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won seven contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
Not much got past  Andrew Schlaefer, who gave up just  three  hits to keep Kelley off the board.
 At the plate,  Bryce Ferguson was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. That  triple was  his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Landen Oetterer, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
The  victory made it two in a row for Barnum and  bumps their season record up to 10-4. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Kelley,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-4-1.
 Coming up, Barnum will square off against Rush City at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Kelley, they will challenge Moose Lake/Willow River at 1:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
