Jostlyn Soto and Erin Goodson were among the main playmakers for Deer Park as the former scored ten points along with five steals and the latter scored 11 points along with six steals and five assists. Goodson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Ripley, who scored six points.
Pasadena has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Deer Park, they pushed their record up to 14-13 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Pasadena have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 29 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Deer Park, though, as they've been averaging only 28.7 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
