That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Gulf's points. Another player making a difference was William Ruffin, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wesley Chapel unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Jesuit by a score of 77-74.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Trey Murray, who scored 25 points. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Hicks, who scored 21 points.
Gulf's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Wesley Chapel, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.
Friday's matchup is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Gulf have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 40.6% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Wesley Chapel struggles in that department as they've drained 49.8% of their threes per game this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
