The home team had won the previous eight meetings between Myrtle and Ashland, and Myrtle kept the tradition alive. The Hawks didn't even let the Blue Devils on the board on Tuesday, marking the Hawks' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 12 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Myrtle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Ashland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
