They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 85-45 victory over Union Colony Prep. Bishop Machebeuf's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Kibre Sibhat was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Miles Edgar-Parchman, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Union Colony Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Josiah Rodriguez. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
The win (which was Bishop Machebeuf's ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.78 points. As for Union Colony Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Coincidentally, Bishop Machebeuf and Union Colony Prep will both be playing Denver Academy the next time they take the court. Bishop Machebeuf will host Denver Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Union Colony Prep will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
