3A District 6 recap Oct. 23, 2012
Mason County extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 6 this week by beating Fleming County, 34-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Royals.
Mason County took down the Panthers 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rashaun Nelson ran for 165 yards in the win.
Mason County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jake Omara has thrown for 248 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Tee King has 15 catches for 360 yards. Nelson leads the league in rushing with 873 yards.
Lewis County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on West Carter.
