After two games on the road, John Carroll Catholic is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Okeechobee Brahmans at 4:30 p.m. on January 13th. Okeechobee took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on John Carroll Catholic, who comes in off a win.
John Carroll Catholic posted their biggest win since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 73-45 victory over St. Edward's.
John Carroll Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon James out in front who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Pat Silas, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Okeechobee was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 45-41 to Centennial. Okeechobee has not had much luck with Centennial recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
John Carroll Catholic's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Okeechobee, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
John Carroll Catholic took their victory against Okeechobee when the teams last played back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 60-35. Will John Carroll Catholic repeat their success, or does Okeechobee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
