The Grant Generals fell victim to the Lincoln Cardinals''s stalwart defense last Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They received a tough blow as they fell 17-0 to the Cardinals.
Among those leading the charge was Emmett Togni, who rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Togni was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lincoln's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Cleveland. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Cleveland is ranked 122nd, while Lincoln is ranked 97th).
