Basalt's game  last Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Fort Lupton Bluedevils by a score of  36-27.
 Several Bluedevils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Marely Gomez, who  posted 16 points. Gomez is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in each of the last 17 games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Kianna Lenox, who  scored three  points along with seven  blocks and six  rebounds.
Basalt's win bumped their record up to 3-19. As for Fort Lupton,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 13-9.
 Coming up, Basalt will face off against Steamboat Springs at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fort Lupton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
