Carter Boyes posted a new career-low in walks on Thursday. Gresham had no answer to Boyes as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Boyes has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Boyes and Sandy will head out on the road to square off against Clackamas at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
