After a string of ten wins dating back to last season, The Randleman Tigers''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to Eastern Randolph. Randleman has struggled against Eastern Randolph recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Randleman still got an impressive performance from Edison Hernandez, who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Carter Revelle was the offensive standout of the match as he threw for 162 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Randleman's loss dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Eastern Randolph, their victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randleman will take on West Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Stanly will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Randleman is ranked 77th). As for Eastern Randolph, they will be playing at home against Cherryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
