There's no place like home for the Baptist Hill Bobcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat St. John 73-42 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Baptist Hill has managed all season.
Jaden Douglas was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rickey Middleton Jr, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Baptist Hill's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for St. John's, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
Baptist Hill will head out on the road to face off against Military Magnet Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. John's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmetto Scholars Academy is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
