St. Petersburg has been on the road for two straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Southeast Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, St. Petersburg came up short against the Royals and fell 38-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Petersburg has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Southeast's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-16 defeat at the hands of Booker. Southeast was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.
St. Petersburg now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Southeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.
Everything came up roses for St. Petersburg against the Seminoles when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 65-36 victory. Will St. Petersburg repeat their success, or do the Seminoles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
