Williamson  took care of business in their home opener  on Wednesday. They never let the Northeast Bradford Panthers get on the board and left with  a   4-0  win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played  back in April of 2024.
 Kenna Thomas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Thomas was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Savannah Dean, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
Northeast Bradford's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 1-1.
 Looking ahead, Williamson will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Northern Potter  at 12:00  p.m. Northeast Bradford will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blue Ridge at 10:00  a.m.  on April 12th.
