The Lapeer Lakers Homeschool Lakers put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 53-40 victory over More Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Lapeer Lakers Homeschool, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lapeer Lakers Homeschool found their leader in underclassman Aiden Lomasney, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Lomasney's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Boal, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
Lapeer Lakers Homeschool's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for More Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lapeer Lakers Homeschool will take on Juniata Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. More Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Michigan School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
