Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Nashua South). They blew past the Manchester Central Little Green 16-5 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Purple Panthers considering their two-run performance the  matchup before.
 Max Demers made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Nashua South got a  massive  performance out of  Nick Sanossian, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  three  runs gave  Sanossian a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jack Ninteau, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Nashua South  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .625. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Nashua South's record is now 7-13. As for Manchester Central,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-18.
Nashua South will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Little Green: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
