Central can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They came out on top against the West County Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-21, 25-10, 25-18.

Morgan Populis paced Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Populis got some help from Hanna Petty and her 21 assists. Petty was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for West County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-1 record this season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Fredericktown on the 30th. As for West County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Valle Catholic on the 30th.
