Basketball Recap: Georgia Force Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from CJ Britt and Carter Mccarn

After flying high against Palmetto HomeSchool on Friday, Georgia Force Christian came back down to earth. The matchup between the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights and the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes didn't end well, with the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights falling 83-64. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Knights in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now lost three in a row.

Carter McCarn and CJ Britt certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. McCarn posted 32 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Britt earned 18 points and six assists. The contest was McCarn's 31st in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Golden, who had five points and six rebounds.

Coastal HomeSchool was led to victory by Micah Faith and Alijah McField. Faith went 7-for-14 en route to 25 points and six boards, while McField went 9-for-12 to rack up 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most assists McField has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tylor Mascu?ana, who put up seven points and seven boards.

Georgia Force Christian's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 22-9. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-11.

Georgia Force Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they will venture away from home to face off against Brunswick Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brunswick Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Coastal HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight.
