Leading Freedom to victory were Savannah Price and Keilani Johnson. Price almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, while Johnson scored nine points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kenneah DeGuzman, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Potomac Senior's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saliyah Freeman, who scored 12 points. Taylor Allen was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Freedom has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Potomac Senior, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.
