Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty). They took their match on Monday with ease, bagging a 71-34 win over the Emmaus Hornets. Given the Hurricanes' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Hornets are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Emmaus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Liberty is taking a road trip to take on Pocono Mountain West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Emmaus, they will be home for the holidays to greet Louis E. Dieruff at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
