They took a 50-35 bruising from Au Gres-Sims. Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy lost against Au Gres-Sims in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 56-53 score last time.
Leading Au Gres-Sims to victory were Analeis Ming and Sophie Fox. Ming scored 20 points along with seven steals, while Fox dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Ming has scored at least 25% of Au Gres-Sims' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelaide Bauer, who scored four points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Au Gres-Sims, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
