Westinghouse is a perfect 3-0 against Disney II since May of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Warriors will host the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Westinghouse has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Westinghouse is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Steinmetz College Prep 32-13 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Emily Coleman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Coleman was even better at the plate, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Westinghouse got a massive performance out of Jocelyn Lewis, who went 4-for-5 with six stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Lewis continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jamilah Tobler, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases.
Westinghouse was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .558. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .467 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 24 runs the game before, Disney II was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They lost 13-1 to Intrinsic. The loss continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.
Disney II's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Westinghouse, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Westinghouse took their win against Disney II in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-5 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
