North Broward Prep had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Ransom Everglades on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Raiders 12-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.

North Broward Prep got a great performance from Jack Rostock as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Rostock has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, North Broward Prep let Alex Smith and Adrian Rodriguez run wild. Smith scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Rodriguez scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brian Campbell Harrison, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

North Broward Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

North Broward Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Ransom Everglades, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-5.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when North Broward Prep Eagles challenge Palmer Trinity Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Palmer Trinity will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something North Broward Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ransom Everglades, they will take on Pine Crest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
