The Keystone Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clarion-Limestone Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keystone is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Keystone took a serious blow against Karns City, falling 68-30. While losing is never fun, Keystone can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 568th, while Karns City is ranked 185th).
Meanwhile, Clarion-Limestone's 25-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Redbank Valley on Tuesday.
Keystone's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Clarion-Limestone, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Keystone might still be hurting after the 68-46 loss they got from Clarion-Limestone in their previous matchup back in February. Thankfully for Keystone, Alex Painter (who scored 16 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
