Volleyball Recap: Mt. Zion Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Mt. Zion won the last time they faced Maroa-Forsyth and things went their way on Thursday too. The Braves came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24.

Mt. Zion pushed their record up to 18-15 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-12 record this season.

Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maroa-Forsyth, they will square off against Warrensburg-Latham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
