 Meanwhile, York Suburban came up short against Spring Grove on Wednesday and fell  8-5.
  Luke Andricos put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Andricos was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Ty Pridgen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Central York's record now sits at 7-12. As for York Suburban, their record now sits at 2-14.
 Central York took their  win against York Suburban  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central York since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
