Basketball Recap: Heights Piles Up the Points Against Liberal

Heights won the last time they faced Liberal and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Heights Falcons breezed past the Liberal Redskins to the tune of 72-25. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.

Jalihn Timmons continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9-for-12 en route to 22 points and four steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Isaiah Carter was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 boards.

Heights smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Heights' win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Liberal, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

As of now, neither Heights nor Liberal have any future games scheduled.
