Sullivan has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Mt. Zion Braves at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
 On Saturday, Sullivan didn't have quite enough to beat Casey-Westfield and fell  4-2.
  Jake Stewart put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Stewart was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 Stewart wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Adan Mills, who  went 1-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Mt. Zion never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Decatur Eisenhower as Mt. Zion made off with  a  16-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Mt. Zion.
 Sullivan dropped their record down to 2-4 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. As for Mt. Zion, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
 Sullivan came up short against Mt. Zion in their previous matchup  back in May of 2018, falling  8-4. Can Sullivan avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
