Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Louis Taylor and Dawson Carson Lead White House to Victory

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely White House's strategy against Greenbrier on Friday. The White House Blue Devils blew past the Greenbrier Bobcats 74-52. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Leading White House to victory were Dawson Carson and Louis Taylor. Carson went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and five blocks, while Taylor went 8 of 10 on his way to 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Carson a new career-high in assists (three). Another player making a difference was Romeo Cantrell, who posted three points along with eight assists, six boards, and five steals.

White House's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for Greenbrier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

White House has already played their next matchup, a 68-51 loss against Station Camp on the 21st. As for Greenbrier, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-43 defeat against White House-Heritage on the 21st.
