Meanwhile, Dublin came into Monday's contest having lost 13 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over Santa Clara on Monday. The Gaels' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Dublin's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: California has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.2 hits per game. California was able to grind out a solid victory over Dublin when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Grizzlies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
