Beech waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 55-42 win over the Hendersonville Commandos. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Buccaneers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Commandos are ranked 143rd).

Beech's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Hendersonville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Beech will venture away from home to challenge Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Hendersonville will take on Liberty Creek in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
