Basketball Recap: Rouse Extends Winning Streak to Five

Rouse waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Belton Tigers 59-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Belton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isabella Warner posted 19 points and three steals. Emma Harvey was another key player, putting up seven points.

Rouse's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Belton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Rouse wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-45 loss against Jordan on the 4th. As for Belton, they will face off against Copperas Cove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
