The Hamlin Chargers will square off against the Wall Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hamlin is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
Hamlin put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 52-8 win over Bon Homme at home.
It was another big night for Tyson Stevenson, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Fraser was in the mix as well, providing Hamlin with two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Hamlin's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Zac VanMeeteren and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Wall entered their tilt with Kimball/White Lake with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Wall took down Kimball/White Lake 22-6 on Thursday.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 8-1.
Hamlin came up short against Wall in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 26-13. Thankfully for Hamlin, Cedar Amiotte (who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 83 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
