The Lanham Christian Lions can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Monday. They blew past Takoma Academy 71-51. Winning may never get old, but Lanham Christian sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Lanham Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Diego Joy out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Tre Ray was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds.
Lanham Christian's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.3 points. As for Takoma Academy, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.
Lanham Christian will head out on the road to challenge Takoma Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Takoma Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Southern Maryland Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th.
