The Brazosport Exporters scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by La Marque on the road to the tune of 93-44. Brazosport has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 27 points or more this season.
Brazosport's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Deja El Amin, who dropped a triple-double on 35 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points El Amin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ahmasia Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Brazosport pushed their record up to 22-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for La Marque, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Coincidentally, Brazosport and La Marque will both be playing Stafford the next time they take the court. La Marque will head out to face Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Brazosport will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
