The S & S Consolidated Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Paradise Panthers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. S & S Consolidated comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
On December 2nd, S & S Consolidated suffered a tough 49-29 loss at the hands of Bells. While losing is never fun, S & S Consolidated can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1123rd, while Bells is ranked 248th).
Paradise has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Whitesboro 52-25 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Paradise.
Gazey Yates continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Mitschke, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
S & S Consolidated's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Paradise, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
S & S Consolidated was dealt a bruising 62-31 defeat at the hands of Paradise in their previous matchup back in January. Can S & S Consolidated avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
