The Commerce Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tallulah Falls 69-42 on the road. The victory was just what Commerce needed coming off of a 81-46 defeat in their prior match.
Commerce got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Malay L miitchell out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Raven Parks, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds.
Commerce's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Tallulah Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
Commerce will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elbert County has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-3 during that stretch of close contests. As for Tallulah Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Athens Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
