Baseball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Christian Academy lost against Bethel Christian Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Conquerors fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-1.

Andrew Pittman put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Faith Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Living Water Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
