The Angola Hornets lost against the Norwell Knights back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Angola was beaten by Norwell 80-31. Angola has struggled against Norwell recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kylie Caswell, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Lexi Stillman was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 4 steals.
Angola's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Norwell, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Angola will take on Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfield is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Norwell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Huntington North at 7:45 p.m.
