There's no place like home for Central Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Anson Bearcats with a sharp 9-2 victory on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Makenna Bahnick as she scored three goals for her team.

The win snapped Central Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-10 record. As for Anson, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9-1.

Central Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against North Iredell on the 10th. Anson has also already played their next game (against Parkwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
