Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). They put the hurt on the Moore Lions with a sharp 70-49 win on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Moore lost, don't look at Briana Blue. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. Florida Johnson was another key player, putting up six points.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Moore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Piedmont will welcome Capitol Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moore, they will head out to challenge Edmond Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
