The Notasulga Blue Devils will take on the Loachapoka Indians at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Notasulga will be strutting in after a victory while the Indians will be coming in after a defeat.
Notasulga scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Verbena 86-45 at home.
Meanwhile, Loachapoka unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Auburn on the road and fell 79-27. While losing is never fun, Loachapoka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the Tigers are ranked 23rd).
Notasulga's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Loachapoka, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Notasulga couldn't quite finish off the Indians in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 48-46. Can Notasulga avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
