Greencastle-Antrim won the last time they faced West Perry and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Mustangs. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.

Carter McCauley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Nolan Sullivan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That stolen base was his first of the season. Landon Myers was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Greencastle-Antrim was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Greencastle-Antrim pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for West Perry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Greencastle-Antrim will host Shippensburg at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Greyhounds will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for West Perry, they will take on Big Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
