The Eagle Point Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Mountain View Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagle Point will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Mountain View is ranked ninth).
Last Friday, Eagle Point took a serious blow against Springfield, falling 42-14.
Meanwhile, Mountain View put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 46-7 victory over Bend at home. The result was nothing new for Mountain View, who have now won seven games by 28 points or more so far this season.
Mountain View's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Connor Crum, who threw for 210 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and Jack Foley, who picked up 132 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Foley was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 63 yards.
Springfield's win bumped their season record to 8-1 while Eagle Point's loss dropped theirs to 5-4.
