Tyrone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goodwell Eagles. One positive for the Bobcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Tyrone's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Goodwell, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tyrone will challenge Texhoma at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Goodwell, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Balko/Forgan at 7:45 p.m. on January 17th.
