The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chapin. Dutch Fork was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chapin apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Dutch Fork lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elgin Sessions, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sessions has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Bryson Taylor, who scored 15 points.
Dutch Fork's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 8-11. As for Chapin, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will take on River Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. River Bluff is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Chapin, they will be playing at home against White Knoll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
