Baseball Recap: Kohler Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Kohler hadn't done well against Oostburg recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Blue Bombers put the hurt on the Flying Dutchmen with a sharp 13-3 win. The Blue Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Zane Willadsen, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 11 games.

Kohler always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Kohler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
